<p>The main aim of this paper was to present and evolution of the concept of commitment for the side-bet theory to the three conceptualisation Model. These was done by presenting successfully commitment as side-bets, affective-dependence period, the multi-dimensional approaches; organisational commitment as Moral, calculative, and alienative attachment, Oâ€™Reilly and Chatman Model 1986 and lastly, three-component conceptualisation Model of organisational commitment developed by Allen and Meyer (1990). All these presentation will help increase the understanding of commitment and will help employers and managers foster the commitment of their employees to their organisations so as to have a better organisation.</p>
