<abstract><p>Supply Chain Management Information System (SCMIS) in automobile industry has gained importance recently due to its ability to reduce cost and increase responsiveness in the supply chain. The system provides high quality, relevant and timely information that supports decision making. The implementation of this system is a complicated process with significant risk as huge amount of money and time is involved. A review of literature has revealed that the success in implementing SCMIS is not very encouraging. This study explored critical factors for the successful implementation of the system.</p></abstract>

<p>Supply Chain Management Information System (SCMIS) in automobile industry has gained importance recently due to its ability to reduce cost and increase responsiveness in the supply chain.
