This paper introduces Ec ological Viability, a new concept in Ecology. This concept is multidisciplinary and systemic in nature. The Ecotome concept is introduced in order to homologize it with the Ayllu (Quechua Aymara) and design the latter as a cybernetic system. The ultimate goal is to re-establish the Oikos that ecology and economics (exchange value chrematistics) have removed from the culture-nature relationship.
