Abstract

In this paper we have audited our collage Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad. The total connected load of the institute is about 650KW which itself considered as a one of the major consumers of power. In order to reduce power consumption and conserve, energy audit has been taken place. A detail calculation is carried out with and without renewable energy source in the way that energy savings and financial benefit is achieved.
