Abstract

An endeavor was made in this study to evaluate the Socioeconomic impacts of farmers’ influencing through mustard inclusion in the fallow period preceding Boro rice farming in study area namely Mymensingh, Jamalpur and Tangail districts of Bangladesh. Field level data were collected by face to face interview using pre-tested questionnaire from 90 respondent farmers’ who were belonged to small, medium and large farm households, a school teacher and businessman while secondary data collected from printed documents such as DAEDAEDepartment Agricultural Extension (www.dae.gov.bd) progress reports and other development statistics.
