Frequently Asked Questions
Submission Process
How do I submit my manuscript?
You can submit your manuscript using the Quick Submit form at globaljournals.org, or simply email your article to [email protected]. We accept .docx, .pdf, and .tex files up to 25MB.
Do I need to format my manuscript in a specific way?
No special formatting is required. Submit your manuscript in any standard academic format-our professional production team handles all typesetting and formatting to meet journal standards. Just ensure your content is clear, complete, and your figures are of good quality.
Can I submit a paper that has been published elsewhere?
No. We only accept original, unpublished research. Previously published work, including preprints on formal publication platforms, cannot be submitted. However, conference papers can be expanded into full journal articles with proper disclosure.
What types of research do you accept?
We publish peer-reviewed research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical notes across multiple disciplines including Computer Science, Engineering, Management & Business, Natural Sciences, Medical Research, and Humanities & Social Sciences. Contact us if you're unsure which journal suits your research.
Can I submit to multiple journals simultaneously?
No. Each manuscript can only be under consideration at one journal at a time. If rejected, you may submit to another journal.
What happens if I submit to the wrong journal?
Our editorial team will review your submission and, if necessary, suggest the most appropriate journal. Internal transfers are seamless—no need to resubmit.
Peer Review Process
What is your peer review process?
We use a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure unbiased evaluation. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
How long does peer review take?
Typically 1-3 weeks. The exact duration depends on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity. You can track your submission status through your author portal.
What are the possible outcomes of peer review?
Reviewers may recommend: Accept (proceed to publication), Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject. Most manuscripts require at least minor revisions before acceptance.
Can I suggest reviewers for my paper?
Yes. During submission, you can suggest qualified reviewers in your field. Our editorial team will consider your suggestions while ensuring independence and avoiding conflicts of interest.
What is the acceptance rate?
Our acceptance rate varies by journal and field. We prioritize quality over quantity and maintain rigorous standards. For specific acceptance statistics, please contact our editorial office.
Publication Timeline
How long does it take to publish my paper?
From submission to online publication, expect 3-5 weeks for manuscripts that don't require major revisions. This includes pre-peer review (3 days), peer review (1-3 weeks), and production (1-2 weeks).
What is EarlyView™ publication?
EarlyView™ is our "ahead of print" online publication. Your article becomes citable with an active DOI within 1-2 weeks after acceptance, even before the formal issue is published.
When is my article officially published?
Your article is officially published when it appears in EarlyView™ with an assigned DOI. Final assignment to a specific volume and issue occurs 2-4 weeks later with the full eJournal release.
Can I expedite the publication process?
Certain stages can be expedited for urgent publications. Contact [email protected] to discuss your timeline. Note: Peer review timelines depend on reviewer availability and cannot be artificially shortened.
Publication Fees
Why do you charge publication fees?
As an open-access publisher, we make all articles freely available to readers worldwide with no paywalls or subscriptions. The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers peer review coordination, professional editing, typesetting, DOI assignment, permanent hosting, and global indexing—ensuring your research reaches the widest possible audience.
How much does it cost to publish?
Publication fees vary by journal and are determined after editorial assessment. For accurate information about applicable fees, please contact us directly with details of your submission.
When is payment due?
Payment is due after your article is accepted for publication. You are not required to pay during peer review; payment instructions will be provided following acceptance.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal (credit/debit cards), bank transfers (with local options in several countries), and institutional purchase orders. Details are provided after manuscript acceptance.
After Publication
Will I receive a physical copy of the journal?
Many authors receive a complimentary hardbound copy of the journal containing their article. Eligibility depends on your publication package. Contact us to confirm what's included with your publication.
How long does hardcopy delivery take?
Printing begins 4-8 weeks after the eJournal is published, followed by 3-6 weeks for international shipping. You'll receive a tracking number when your copy ships. Total time: approximately 2-3 months after online publication.
Can I order additional copies?
Yes. Additional hardbound copies can be ordered for a nominal fee plus shipping. Contact our printing department for pricing and availability.
Can I make corrections after publication?
Yes. For minor corrections (typos, figure updates), email us with the page number and specific change needed. We'll update the online version and publish a corrigendum if necessary. Major corrections may require a formal erratum.
How do I get my DOI?
Your DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is assigned during production and becomes active when your article is published in EarlyView™. You'll receive it via email, and it appears on your published article.
Withdrawal & Copyright
Can I withdraw my manuscript?
Yes, though the process varies by stage. Before peer review, withdrawal is simple and immediate. During review, please provide your reason and allow 72 hours for processing. After acceptance, formal retraction procedures apply. Contact us to discuss your situation.
Who owns the copyright to my article?
You retain full copyright to your work. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing you to share, reuse, and build upon your research while ensuring proper citation.
Can I share my published article?
Absolutely! As an open-access publication, you're encouraged to share your article freely. Post it on ResearchGate, your institutional repository, your personal website, and social media.
