The objective was to describe the clinical and neurophysiological characteristics of Guillain Barré Syndrome in patients hospitalized at the hospital and during the period before mentioned. The estimated universe is 48 patients. EPI INFO statistical methods, percentages, and frequencies, according to the type of variables, with their dispersion measures Conclusions: Guillain Barré Syndrome is more common in males, with an average age of 54 years. Most have a history of a previous infectious process and are from the capital city. The most observed neurophysiological variant is ANSAM, unlike international reports.
