Stroke Subtypes and Intracranial Large vessel stenosis Clinical and Radiological Profile
Objective: This study aimed at to identify stroke subtypes, clinical picture, outcome, prevalence of stroke-related risk factors and the prevalence of Intracranial(IC) large vessel Stenosis in ischemic stroke Egyptian patients. Materials and Methods: 504 consecutive acute cerebral stroke patients were enrolled to a prospective hospital-based study during a period of one year and submitted to clinical evaluation including National institute of health stroke scale (NIHSS), Modified Rankin Scale (MRS),baseline computed tomography (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA).
