Abstract

Introduction: In Sub-Sahara Africa, women’s personal choices is not the only factor for an infant feeding to be successful, as their spouse and extended members of the family will always contribute their own views whether it is acceptable or not. In addition, for mother-infant bonding to be established, mothers usually choose exclusive breast feeding over exclusive formula feeding.
