Copyright and ownership
- Content where copyright is transferred to or licensed by Global Journals®
- Content where authors retain copyright and grant Global Journals® a license to publish
- Open access or Creative Commons content with specified reuse terms
- Respecting the copyright and license terms indicated for each article or resource
- Obtaining any additional permissions needed for uses beyond the scope of those terms
- Ensuring that any materials they submit do not infringe the rights of others

Once a valid counter-notice is received, we may reinstate the content unless the complainant files a court action to prevent its restoration.
Submitting a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content available through our Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice that includes all of the following information:
1. Identification of the copyrighted work
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or
- A representative list of multiple copyrighted works on a single site are covered by one notification.
2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
- The exact URL or other specific location of the material on our Services that you claim is infringing
- Sufficient information to allow us to locate the material (for example article title, journal name, volume, issue, page, DOI).
3. Your contact information
- Your full name
- Postal mailing address
- Telephone number
- Email address
4. Statements required by law
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
5. Signature
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
How we respond to DMCA notices
- Acknowledge receipt of the notice to the complainant, where contact details are provided.
- Review the identified material and the notice for completeness and legal sufficiency.
- Where appropriate, temporarily disable access to or remove the allegedly infringing material.
- Where feasible and appropriate, notify the author or account holder associated with the material that a DMCA notice has been received and that access has been disabled or the material removed.
- Request clarifications or additional information from the complainant.
- Decline to remove or restore material if the notice or counter notice does not meet legal requirements or if we reasonably believe that the material is not infringing.
Counter notification procedure
1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled (for example URL, article title, journal name, DOI).

- Email address
3. Statements required by law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the location of your address, or if you are outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of the courts in a suitable US jurisdiction that you identify, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.
4. Signature
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Action following a counter notification
When Global Journals® receives a valid counter notification, we will:
- Forward a copy of the counter notification to the original complainant or their agent.
- Inform the complainant that we may restore the material or re-enable access within a specified time period, unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a legal action seeking to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity.
Repeat infringers and misuse of copyright procedures
- We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
- We may also restrict access, require additional assurances, or take other actions under our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms and Conditions.
- Submitting fraudulent, misleading, or bad faith notices or counter notices may itself be a violation of law and may result in legal liability.
Relationship with other policies and rights
- Any other rights or remedies that Global Journals®, authors, or other rights holders may have under copyright or other laws.
- Our ability to remove or disable access to content for reasons unrelated to copyright, such as violations of our editorial policies, ethical concerns, privacy issues, or unacceptable use.
- Any obligations we may have under contracts with authors, institutions, or partners.

Non US users
- If you are located outside the United States, you may still use this process to raise concerns about allegedly infringing material.
- By submitting a DMCA notice or counter notice, you acknowledge that your request will be handled under this Policy and that certain elements of US law may apply.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit rights or remedies available under the laws that apply in your jurisdiction where those rights cannot be waived or limited by contract.
