Open Research
Our Vision for Open Access
Open access fuels a more collaborative, inclusive, and transparent scholarly world. We believe knowledge should not be confined by paywalls, instead, it should be shared freely and built upon to drive meaningful progress. At Global Journals®, we are committed daily to making new insights more accessible to researchers, institutions, and the public.
Real progress must be both inclusive and sustainable. That is why we offer flexible, author-centric open access options to researchers and institutions across the globe, always preserving the highest standards of research quality, integrity, and value.
Building Trust Through Quality and Scale
Each year, we receive thousands of manuscripts from authors worldwide. Whether submitted to open access journals or those with other models, every article is subject to rigorous peer review by our internal editorial teams and external experts.
After acceptance, each article is enhanced, indexed, certified, and promoted, ensuring the integrity of the scientific record. Our commitment to high standards means authors can publish open access with confidence, knowing their work retains credibility and influence.
What “Open Access Positions” Means with Us
“Open Access Positions” refers to how authors, institutions, and community members can engage in open access publishing with Global Journals®. It includes:
- Author publishing options - How authors can publish open access in our journals, including licensing, fees, and waiver policies.
- Institutional and consortia partnerships - Agreements that cover authors’ open access costs and streamline the process.
- Open access initiatives and collaborations - Special programs (waivers, transformative agreements, etc.) to further open science.
- Advocacy, policy, and education - Resources, guidelines, and support for authors and institutions navigating open access.
- Open roles and calls - Invitations for editorial, reviewer, or advisory roles specifically related to open access.
Supporting All Researchers and Institutions
We understand that every researcher and institution faces unique circumstances. Our open access framework is designed with inclusivity in mind:
- We keep publishing fees competitive and transparent, so authors know what to expect.
- We provide full or partial waivers and discounts for authors in low- and middle-income regions.
- We adopt pricing policies sensitive to economic disparities, enabling more equitable opportunities to publish.
By adapting to local conditions, we aim to break down financial barriers and allow more scholars to contribute openly to global knowledge.
Expanding Free Access for Audiences Worldwide
Our mission is not only to help authors publish but also to expand access for readers everywhere. From students and researchers to practitioners and the general public, we offer access pathways so that valuable content can reach those who need it.
We continuously explore and introduce access initiatives, such as partnerships, open collections, and outreach programs, to make sure that content published in our journals and books can be freely accessed, especially in underserved regions.
Open Access Roles & Calls
To sustain and improve our open initiatives, we periodically call for:
- Editorial Board Members specialized in open access.
- Open Access Policy Advisors and advocates.
- Reviewers / Peer Experts for OA journal submissions.
- Open Science Ambassadors to engage with academic communities and institutions.
We believe that openness thrives when processes, costs, and decisions are visible, not opaque.
