Asif Islam is a Research Scientist / Assistant Professor (Research) at the IRC for Sustainable Energy Systems and the Department of Electrical Engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He holds a PhD from the University of Queensland in the School of ITEE and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He has held various industry and research positions in Australia, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and other countries. His work includes research in electrical engineering and sustainable energy systems.
