Dr. Gurjeet Singh is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, with a specialization in Network Security and Mobile Adhoc Networks. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. Over the course of his career, he has been affiliated with several esteemed institutions, including Desh Bhagat Institute of Engineering & Management Moga, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, and MK Group of Institutes. Dr. Singh has authored over 12 impactful research papers, focusing on secure routing protocols, wireless network performance, and broadband security. His work has been published in international journals, and he actively serves as a reviewer and fellow for Global Journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in computing and network technologies. Performance Analysis of Adhoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Destination Sequence Routing (DSR) protocols in Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANET)

This research paper compares the performance of MANET routing protocol such as Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Destination Sequence Routing (DSR) protocol at different Node mobility and node density under different Traffic loads. The experimental data that i got are different from the original data because of several factors like random seed value, number of packets to be sent, packet size, start and end time during simulation and interdeparture time of the Constant Bit Rate generator etc. AODV produced control packets with more than 34 times and DSR more than 4 times when the traffic load was increased. However, DSR is less vulnerable to node mobility and node density in terms routing overhead and is also best suited for scalability compared to AODV.

Mobile Ad hoc Network is a collection of mobile nodes in which the wireless links are frequently broken down due to mobility and dynamic infrastructure. Routing is a significant issue and challenge in ad hoc networks. Many Routing protocols have been proposed so far to improve the routing performance and reliability. This research paper describes comparative analysis of multicasting routing protocols in manet based on the different performance metrics like End to End delay, Throughput, Packet Loss.

PERFORMANCE AND EFFECTIVENESS OF SECURE ROUTING PROTOCOLS IN MANET

Mobile adhoc network (MANET) is a temporary network setup for a specific purpose without help of any preexisting infrastructure. The nodes in MANET are empowered to exchange packet using a radio channel. The nodes not in direct reach of each other uses their intermediate nodes to forward packets. (MANET) environment of MANET makes it vulnerable to various network attacks. A common type of attacks targets at the underlying routing protocols. Malicious nodes have opportunities to modify or discard routing information or advertise fake routes to attract user data to go through themselves. Some new routing protocols have been proposed to address the issue of securing routing information. However, a secure routing protocol cannot single-handedly guarantee the secure operation of the network in every situation. The objectives of the paper is to study the performance and effectiveness of some secure routing protocols in these simulated malicious scenarios, including ARIADNE and the Secure Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing protocol (SAODV).

Comparative Analysis of MAC Protocols in Wireless Cellular Networks

This paper seeks with the comparative analysis of MAC protocols in wireless cellular networks. Theory begins with a short overview of basic cellular networks. Then special MAC algorithms for world of wireless are discussed according to the particular type of wireless networks like wireless cellular networks. A description of these algorithms and protocols together with their issues and comparison is given in this paper. Finally, the comparison of different forms of wireless network systems with respect to the MAC algorithms belong to them is presented.
