Bio
Kamrun Nahar Keya is a dedicated researcher specializing in polymer composites and materials engineering. She is affiliated with the Institute of Radiation and Polymer Technology (IRPT), Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, where she has contributed to the fabrication and mechanical characterization of natural and synthetic fiber-reinforced composites. Her notable work includes the study of bamboo and E-glass fiber reinforced polypropylene-based composites. Dr. Keya has pursued advanced research training in the United States, serving as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Dakota State University (2023–present). She earned her PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from North Dakota State University (2023) and has conducted doctoral research in Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. With over 20 publications and 760 citations, her H-index of 8 and i10-index of 7 reflect her growing impact in the field. Her research interests span composite materials, radiation processing, and interfacial properties of fiber-reinforced polymers.
