Ts. Dr. Kumuthawathe Ananda-Rao is a distinguished Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), where she has been shaping minds since 2018. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical System Engineering from the same university in 2018, following a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering in 2008. Her research focuses on energy management systems, renewable energy, and smart control systems, with notable works including A Potential Controller for Smart Electrical Energy Management System and Performance Analysis of Smart Lighting Control System for Sustainable Campus Operation. Dr. Ananda-Rao has published 19 works, amassed 93 citations, and holds a h-index of 6 and an i10-index of 3. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and holds Professional Technologist status with the Malaysian Board of Technologists, among other professional memberships.
