What kind of Cultural Revolution is Taking Place in the US Today?
The “Cultural Revolution†currently taking place in the United States must be analyzed in relation to “Proletcultism†(that is the Cultural Revolution in the USSR) and the Cultural Revolution in China. Contemporary American „progressivism†has taken something negative from both. From the proletcultism he unconsciously took the messianic idea, only that the Proletariat is not the Messiah, but different minorities: racial, sexual, religious, ethnic. He also took the communist internationalist idea of denying the national identity of states in the name of an even more nebulous internationalism. From Maoism, he took the furious denial and destruction of the cultural and ethical values of the more distant or closer past. Surely, all this against the background of a specific American. But by fighting openly against racism, this movement develops a racism of the opposite direction, a racism against white, heterosexual and possibly Christian people. The present analysis also tries a series of predictions regarding the evolutions of the movement and the implications that it could have on the eventuality of its extension in Europe.
China Faced with the Prospect of a Multipolar World
In the current established political analyses a few ciclehes have been put into circulation, such as: the USA is the only global superpower; the legitimacy of the United States of America’s actions on the world stage is self-evident and cannot be questioned; it’s preferable to have a globalization made under the United States of America, because this is an enlightened country and it promotes universal values; the Western values promoted by the USA are most certainly better than those of other civilizations’ and can be extended on a global scale without any issue; introducing democracy into countries with a totalitarian political regime will automatically entail their economic prosperity; perhaps some of the actions of the United States of America are not good, but we shouldn’t criticize them, because it would not be politically correct etc. Our thesis, stated and unequivocally argued in the paragraphs below, claims instead that an emergent multipolar structure is being set up, that the hegemonic legitimacy of the United States of America is questionable and it has already begun its downfall, that the USA has entered a pronounced process of relativization of the values it promotes/its promoted values, that it has begun to significantly lose ground on a moral basis, especially after the Wikileaks revelations, a loss which will precede and cause future losses of a military, political and economic nature.
The Psychological Resources of Terrorism According to French Philosopher Andr Glucksmann
The religious fundamentalist terrorism makes its presence felt yet again, in Europe as well in other parts of the globe. It is therefore important to find out what are its psychological resources. To this end, we have studied the thematic analyses written by the French specialist in political philosophy, André Glucksmann. The particularities of Glucksmann’s research are the ironic-essayistic and the fact that he guides his conclusions after presenting fictional literary characters from the classical universal literature. It is our conclusion that, in such cases, the presentation of unique literary characters, representative for an idea, can be more relevant than the presentation of several empirical facts.

In contemporary researches on Ethics, the study subject of this discipline seems to be simple and is considered as being a sociological, given fact. From this perspective, the subject of Ethics is provided by the external experience, the observation of the social world and of the rules of conduct, including the ones pertaining to certain professional fields, which are actually followed or just proclaimed verbally, as well as by the internal experience, our own sense regarding the idea of good and acceptance of the moral rules. However, this way of perceiving things has an important shortcoming: it cannot explain an ethical conduct which is defining for the human being, the heroic conduct. There are people with strong characters who, in the name of some ethical ideals, make choices that do not pursue personal interests. On the contrary, the choices can prejudice them greatly and even putting their own lives in danger. We are talking about choices that are not conditioned internally or externally, neither socially or by personal emotions, but are ethical imperatives that refer to unconditional and unrelated values, to the definite and absolute. Our present endeavor seeks to highlight how the manifestation of the Unconditional occurs in the case of exemplary ethical personality of antiquity and how the Unconditional reveals itself as being a divine imperative, a metaphysical principle.

Which movements can be considered justifiable and which measures must the governments in question adopt? What role do the common values play in the legitimating of power in a democratic society? How do we make the difference between a legitimate appeal and an illegitimate one, between civism and terrorism? Here are a few questions according to which this article is synthetically structured.
