Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Approach in Appointment of Positions in an Organization via Max-Min-Max Rule

Article August 8, 2015

From the myriads of research on the applications of intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory in decision making, one can easy say that intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory is of great importance in decision science due to its efficiency and reliability. Here, we proposed a new area of application of intuitionistic fuzzy sets theory in appointment of positions in an organisation using intuitionistic fuzzy sets approach via max-min-max rule.

Correspondence between Fuzzy Multisets and Sequences

Article January 8, 2015

Although fuzzy multisets or fuzzy bags are very interesting in terms of applications, it is less study or explore by researchers. Fuzzy multiset is applicable as a model of information retrieval because it has the mathematical structure or framework which expresses the number and the degree of attribution of an element simultaneously. We present a concise note on fuzzy multisets as the fuzzification or extension of multisets and the generalization of fuzzy sets. We showed the correspondence between fuzzy multisets and sequences. The Bolzano-Weierstrass property of fuzzy multisets is proposed and some theorems stated and proved.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets in Career Determination

Article July 17, 2014

Intuitionistic fuzzy set has proven interesting and useful in providing a flexible framework or model to elaborate uncertainty and vagueness involved in decision making. In this paper, we proposed the application of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFS) in career determination. Solution is obtained by looking for the smallest distance between each student and each career.
