Dr. Sunil Kumar

Dr. Sunil Kumar is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the P.G. Department of Computer Science at Guru Nanak College for Girls, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applications from Maharishi Markandeshwar University in 2018, with a dissertation focused on cloud computing and task scheduling. His research interests span metaheuristic algorithms, distributed systems, software engineering, and image processing. Dr. Kumar has published 27 scholarly works, accumulating over 286 citations, with an h-index of 8 and an i10-index of 4. He has guided multiple M.Phil students and successfully completed a University Grants Commission (UGC) minor project on edge detection techniques. An active member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) since 2016, he also serves as a reviewer for the Global Journal of Computer Science and Technology.
