Prof. Dr. Laith Ahmed Najam is a distinguished academic and researcher affiliated with the University of Mosul in Iraq, where he serves in the Department of Physics within the College of Science. With a strong foundation in Nuclear Physics, holding a B.Sc. in Physics, an M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics, and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics, he has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding of radiation physics and environmental radioactivity. His notable works include assessments of radon gas concentrations and radiation hazards in dwellings and soil samples, contributing significantly to public health and safety knowledge in Iraq.
