Dr. S. Asif Hussain

Dr. S. Asif Hussain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Middle East College, Oman. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Ananthapur, an M.Tech in Embedded Systems, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU. Dr. Hussain has over a decade of academic experience, having previously served as an Associate Professor at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, India. His research interests encompass deep learning, real-time face emotion classification, and embedded systems. He has published 21 works, accumulating 365 citations, with an h-index of 8. Dr. Hussain is a member of IEEE and has been recognized with an AICTE Research Promotion Scheme grant. His current work focuses on innovative AI-driven solutions for human-computer interaction.
