Abstract

In the early 20th century, Einstein put forward the theory of time and space —-Fourdimensional space. This paper presents a new theory of space —–Five-dimensional space (ie, three-dimensional space, time and visible light). Five-dimensional space has the characteristics of logic, directionality and artistry. The logicality of space refers to that the form and state of the space will change as the five parameters of space change. The spatial directionality refers to that people identify the direction in nature and architecture depending on the visible light and the reference system. The discussion and application of five-dimensional space and its directionality in the engineering design can create various interests and amusement. It will be convenient for users to recognize the spatial directionality of the building.
