Abstract

Within the limits of the institutionalization of the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture (PRONAF), the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) and the participation of Brazil in the Food Acquisition Program for Africa (PPA). The main objective of this work was to share the best practices in the implementation of school feeding programs as an important social protection tool to fight hunger, contributing to the exchange of information between countries, their farmers to take advantage of the “desert drought” and cooperatives. The methodology applied in the present research consists of a qualitative and descriptive bibliographical research, in order to obtain the necessary data for the accomplishment of the research objectives, where interviews with different social actors working directly with the institutionalization of the PNAE, PRONAF and the PAA Africa program is an initiative of the Brazilian government in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP), FAO (United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization) and DFID (UK Department for International Development to promote food security and empowerment by On the other hand, the agents directly linked to the farmers showed the subject and questioned this research, but did not reveal any action that could reverse the absence of farmers in public calls.
