The automotive industry has long sought materials that balance aesthetics, durability, and efficiency in the production of exterior parts. Traditional materials such as polypropylene (PP) have shown limitations in UV stability, mechanical performance, and manufacturing challenges. This study explores the use of acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) LI941 in combination with an injection using the Banana Gate molding process to produce fender embellishers, with a focus on optimizing molding parameters to improve quality and efficiency. Using Autodesk Moldflow simulations, this research highlights the benefits and challenges of this approach and provides insight into its potential applications in the automotive sector.
