Abstract

The study examined the role of technology- driven instruction in improving graduate employability in tertiary institutions in Delta state. Two research questions guided the study. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The study was carried out in two (2) colleges of educations and two Universities offering Economics Education in Delta state. The population of the study comprised 102 students in 200level of these institutions. A sample size of eighty (80) students was selected from the population of the study. Instrument for data collection was a questionnaire structured by the researcher in a four points scale of VHE,HE,LE and VLE and strongly agree (SA), agree (A), disagree (D) and strongly disagree (SD).. The questionnaire was validated by two experts. The reliability of the instrument was determine using Cronbach Alpha method which yielded a coefficient of 0.73. mean score and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions and analyzed the data collected.The findings revealed that.ICT integration significantly enhances students digital competence and employability skills.finding also shows that digital learning tools improve collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. The study recommended that the government should improve ICT infrastructure in tertiary institution, lecturers should receive continuous training on digital teaching methods curriculum should be revised to include more technological-based content.
