Internet Service providers (ISPs) are the building blocks for Internet. Due to huge demand of Internet by various business communities and individuals, ISPs are trying to meet the increasing traffic demand with improved utilization of existing resources and application of new technologies. Routing of data packets can affect network resource utilization. A protocol is followed to send packets from source to destination along a path. In intra-domain Internet routing protocol Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is the most commonly used protocol. As any user can come in and out from the logical topology of network, routing in dynamic network is a challenging one. I have implemented a Genetic algorithm to finds the set of optimal routes to send the traffic from source to destination.
