Abstract

Sammary-This work consists of modeling, simulation and multiple models control of an industrial absorption packed column designated to remove CO 2 , from natural gas. The multiple models approach is an elegant way of turning nonlinear problems into linear ones. In this paper, we used the output feedback distributed control (ODC) coupled with local linearization of the model of the absorption packed column. We compared the results with those obtained with the traditional PID control and the results were satisfactory.
