Abstract

The warehousing system is an important aspect of the supply chain that requires the attention of environmental engineers to assess the environmental impacts of the warehousing activities. This paper aims to address the application of environmental management system in a warehousing organization within Saudi Aramco Oil Company. The main finding was that the successful implementation of environmental management system allows the organization to proactively address environmental impacts and have better control over environmental consequences.
