The essay aims to study the process of reopening schools and returning to attendance as a public policy decision. For this, we analyze both the closure of schools and the policies adopted in that context, as well as the consequences that said closure had. Finally, we present the first data on the educational performance of the school population in the post-pandemic. The study deals with Argentina focusing on the City of Buenos Aires.
