Abstract

The Regeneration and Growth of Planaria: A Study Testing Planarian Regeneration Effectiveness in Different Solutions. Planarian regeneration can be affected by its environment. Planaria can regenerate, making them perfect to compare regenerative capacity of variables. The quality of what the planaria live in can affect how well they regenerate. Planaria can regenerate quickly due to their size and simplicity, allowing for results to be revealed quickly. In this experiment, planaria will be vertically cut in half, then placed in jars with different solutions. One jar will contain spring water (planaria’s normal habitat). Three other jars will be filled with 15% green tea, and caffeine solutions and then a 5% creatine solution. The jar with spring water will be the control group.
