Bio
Sergiy Bronin is a distinguished academic and cybersecurity expert based in Ukraine, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and as a Researcher at Vilnius University in Lithuania. With a PhD in Computer Aided Management Systems from Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, his research focuses on the modeling and cybersecurity of socio-cyberphysical systems. Dr. Bronin has held multiple academic positions, including Associate Professor at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" and Taurida National V.I. Vernadsky University. He is also the President of the Ukrainian Association of IT Professionals, leading initiatives to strengthen the IT community. His work has been supported by several European Commission grants, including GameHub, iCo-op, and DigiUni, and he has published 28 works with over 128 citations, reflecting an h-index of 6. Dr. Bronin is actively involved in digital transformation, currently serving as Vice Rector for Digitalization at Kazakh National University of Sports and Advisor to the Rector at Qazaq AI Research University.
