Dr. K. Sharmila is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at VELS University, Chennai, India. She holds M.Sc, M.Phil, and Ph.D degrees. Her research interests include Big Data and Machine Learning. She has published 8 papers, including a notable work on 'Segmentational Color Map Analysis to Identify Retinal Detachment'. She also serves as a journal editor.
