Study on Supply Chain Management of Industries in FMCG Sector in Bangladesh
Now a days, supply chain management plays an important role in business industry. Supply chain management involves optimizing industrial operations to increase both speed and efficiency. Both speed and efficiency are vital to increase service quality and ensure product delivery at earliest time. Efficiency also increase the power of industry to handle their partners in a structured manner. The FMCG Industry is on a high growth in our country. Proper supply chain management practice is important for FMCG industries of our country because customers will choose the company that meets their needs fastest. It is also important to get competitive advantages in global market. Industries of our country increasingly find that they must rely on effective supply chains, or networks, to compete in the global .Industries are now realizing that customer driven supply chain configuration helps them to participate in achieving growth.
Comparison of Numerical Schemes for Shallow Water Equation
Many problems of river management and civil protection consist of the evaluation of the maximum water levels and discharges that may be attained at particular locations during the development of an exceptional meteorological event. Numerical methods have become a useful tool to predict discharges and water levels in hydraulic systems. The shallow water or St. Venant equations, being a hyperbolic quasi- linear partial differential system represents a good candidate for the application of many of the techniques developed originally for Fluid Dynamics. In this paper we will present different numerical schemes such as Lax-Friedrich scheme, Lax-Wendroff scheme, Leap-Frog scheme for the shallow water equation and implement the numerical schemes by computer programming. Next we will compare these different schemes with respect to their efficiency and the quality of the solution indeed. Here we apply linear advection equation in order to test the accuracy of these schemes for shallow water equation.
Economical Way of GPRS Based Fully Automated Energy Metering System
This paper presents a design of secure and economical (low cost) way of GPRS based fully automated energy metering system that measures and transmits the total electrical energy consumption to main server using general packet radio service (GPRS) technology provided by GSM networks and also present how the meter reading, disconnection and reconnection can be controlled from server end. The proposed EGFAEM system consist of four main parts: Energy Meters, Communication part over GPRS, Server and Management part and consumer end for billing and payment. A single phase energy meter prototype has been implemented to provide measurement up to 40A load current and 230V line to neutral voltage. Communication part is implemented by GPRS module and microcontroller, sever and consumer end are implemented in web server.
Two Ways of Rotating Freedom Solar Tracker by Using ADC of Microcontroller
Solar trackers are used to improve electric power radically of photovoltaic panel by using different sensor. The sensors retrieve the solar radiation. This paper presents a simple method, low cost microcontroller based solar tracker of two ways of rotating freedom in order to achieve the right positioning of photovoltaic solar cell to get the much sunlight during the day light session and as a result produce more electricity. This tracking system is developed with two direct current motor operated by a PIC16F72 microcontroller which processes the sensors (LDR) information by its internal ADCanalog to digital converter with Fuzzy logic and send correct information to motor controller IC-LM392D by which motor is operated. The motor is so operated that the panel can rotates two ways such as horizontally and vertically of its direction. A comparison has been made on a conventional solar follower plant and trucking system.
