Stalin Chandrasekaran is a dedicated researcher in the field of pharmacology, with a strong focus on medicinal plants and their therapeutic applications. He has been affiliated with several institutions in India, including Raoas Pharmacy College in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, and Raos College of Pharmacy. He also pursued his research as a scholar at Sunrise University in Alwar, Rajasthan. His work spans a variety of topics, including antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and nephroprotective activities of plant extracts, as well as an overview of medicinal plants with antifertility activity. With a qualification as a Patient Safety Pharmacovigilance Associate and a PhD in Pharmacology, Stalin has authored multiple papers and contributed significantly to the understanding of natural products in drug development. His research is characterized by a commitment to exploring the potential of traditional medicinal plants through modern scientific methods.

In Vitro Antidiabetic Activity of Cardiospermum Halicacabum leaves Extracts
Objective: The present study was designed to investigate the glucose uptake of (antidiabetic activity) crude n-hexane,ethanol, methanol and aqueous leaf extracts of Cardiospermum Halicacabum. Methods: of Cardiospermum Halicacabumleaf extracts were subjected to inhibitory effect of glucose utilization using specific standard in vitro procedure. Results: results in four different leaf extracts revealed that, the methanol extract at a concentration of 50g plant extract/l was found to be more potent than other extracts with the lowest mean glucose concentration of 201±1.69 mg/dl at the end of 27 hrs. Conclusions: The present findings suggest that, the methanolic extract showed a significant inhibitory effect on glucose diffusion in vitro thus validating the traditional claim of the plant.
Medicinal Plants with Antifertility Activity-An Overview
Medicinal plants, is a common word which can utter in every one’s mouth that are helpful in treating many diseases which can’t be done by even allopathic medicine. Among those the birth control and at the same time increasing the fertility in human beings are both become major problems now a days. This review presents updated information gathered on scientifically proved medicinal plants used for anti-fertility activity. This study provides the information on botanical name, family, parts used, solvents used and their chemical constituents present in plants. In spite of rapid progress and spread of modern medicine and surgery, faith in and popularity of traditional methods has not decreased. There are a large number of studies which supports the anti-fertility effects of traditional herbal medicines. The aim of this review is to highlight the work on anti-fertility of plant origin. The present paper also involves various plant drugs and their bioactive extracts involved in anti-fertility mechanism. This article may help investigators to identify medicinal plants responsible for anti-fertility activity.
