Submit an objection against Plagiarism

Citation of Plagiarizing Paper

Citation of the Original Paper

    Submit a plagiarism objection if:
  • You believe a published article contains copied or substantially similar content without proper attribution.
  • Your previously published work has been used without authorization or citation.
  • You have documented evidence of overlapping or duplicated material.
To ensure a fair and timely review, please provide:
  • Full details of the article in question (title, journal, volume, issue, link).
  • Details of the original work allegedly copied.
  • Clear explanation of the similarity or overlap.
  • Supporting documentation or evidence.
Incomplete or unsupported claims may delay review.
  • All plagiarism objections are handled confidentially and reviewed in accordance with editorial policies and ethical guidelines. If necessary, the matter may be escalated to the editorial board for further assessment.
  • Appropriate action will be taken if misconduct is confirmed, which may include correction, retraction, or other editorial measures.

QUESTIONS?

FAQ

What evidence is most useful?

Direct links or citations to the original source, plus exact section references in the article or manuscript being reported. Marked excerpts or screenshots help reviewers verify quickly.

Is a similarity score enough to file an objection?

A similarity score can support a concern but is not conclusive. Context, citations, and legitimate reuse are evaluated during review.

Can I submit anonymously?

Yes. Anonymous reports are accepted, but providing an email enables clarification requests and may reduce delays.

What types of reuse are commonly investigated?

Text overlap without proper citation, duplicate publication, and unauthorized reuse of figures, tables, images, or datasets.

Will I receive the final outcome?

You may receive confirmation of receipt and, where policy allows, a general outcome. Confidential internal review details are not shared.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary based on case complexity, number of sources, and whether author or institutional clarification is required.

What if my objection is about a figure or table rather than text?

Include the figure or table number, the page or section location, and the original source where it was first published or created, along with permission status if known.

What should I avoid submitting?

Avoid sharing confidential peer review materials and avoid personal data not necessary for evaluating the concern.
