Dr. Ramchandran Vedantham is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Vasireddy Venkatadri International Technological University (VVIT), Nambur, India. With a career spanning over two decades, he has made significant contributions to digital image processing, deep learning, and computer vision. Dr. Vedantham earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2017, following an M.Tech. in CSE from St.Ann's College of Engineering & Technology (JNTUK) and a B.Tech. in CSE from Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College (Andhra University). His professional journey includes roles as a Professor at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (2008-2022), Assistant Professor at Vignan's Engineering College (2002-2008), and earlier industry positions as an ABAP/4 Technical Consultant in Singapore and Malaysia. Dr. Vedantham has published over 50 papers in international journals and 8 in national journals, and has supervised multiple research scholars. His research interests span artificial intelligence, image processing, pattern recognition, and computer networks.
