Materalistic Thoughts Among People

The focus of this research study is to see the level of materialistic thoughts among the people. Now people value to extrinsic things rather than intrinsic. Enjoyment, physical pleasure, material possessions and comfort are now becoming necessities of life. This study was conducted in January-June 2010. To analyze the materialistic thoughts among people five variables money, poverty, personal happiness, advertisement and culture were used as measurement tools to find materialistic thoughts among housewives, students, businessmen and salary person. Questionnaire was developed which includes demographic portion which was with some open and some close ended questions. Questions related to variables were all close ended. Stratified random sampling technique was used. Sample size was of 200. In results, there was no association between money, advertisement, poverty, culture, personal happiness with Study group. The materialistic thought is increasing among people due to two factors money and advertisement. Under recommendation it’s said that all that glitters is not gold so we should not give importance to luxurious things.

Determinants Of Exchange Rate And Its Impact On Pakistani Economy

This paper is explores the reasons behind the devaluation of Pakistani currency with respect to US $ and answer these questions that, Is interest rate and inflation difference having relationship with exchange rate? Either Exchange rate effect economic growth positively or negatively? Is current account deficit and public debt are determinant of exchange rate? It also checks that how exchange rate fluctuation affects economic growth by evaluating the GDP using data over period of 11 years (2001-2011) of Pakistan. For this purpose we evaluated some of the past literatures on exchange rate, its aim to point out several factors that explains the reason behind Pakistani currency devaluation and its exchange with other currencies specially with US $. The result shows how these determinants fluctuates exchange rate, inflation differential; current account deficit, public debt and interest rate differential are most important determinants which have major impact on exchange rate.We got the resultant that GDP, interest rate, inflation rate and current account affected exchange rate fluctuation but the major and important role played by GDP.

Trend of Using Face Book Among Teenagers

This study examines the relationship between use of Facebook, a popular online social network site, and the formation and maintenance of social capital. In addition to assessing bonding and bridging social capital, we explore a dimension of social capital that assesses one’s ability to stay connected with members of a previously inhabited community, which we call maintained social capital. The trend of using face book among teenagers and students increasing now days therefore we conduct a survey of 200 people in the form of questionnaire, Convenience sampling use in our survey and gather information regarding our research, According to the questionnaire we have found the result that the people do not agree for using face book among teenagers is suitable and beneficial although students are the main user of face book but they are not using face book for right purpose and the result shows the same, therefore teenagers should quit face book and get through for this addictive social networking. Is Recruitment and Staffing Decision are Crucial to Success?

- The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the proposed research into business staffing and recruitment decision. The introduction of our research was recruitment and selection is the process by choosing the most appropriate person for a job. The success of any business depend on the quality of its staff, requirement employee with the correct skill can be added value to the business. The objective of our study was to find out the, developing a strategic staffing solution that meets the needs of internal and external customers requires an analysis of organizational competencies and quite possibly external vendor capabilities .This study was conducted from April 2012 to June 2012. A group of 200 employees was take part in this study through a predesigned questionnaire which consists of five portions according to objectives, which was collected from the employees of PEPSI. Regression technique was applied to check the impact of cost, recruitment and staffing decision in an organization. The result shows the significant relationship between an organization and its cost, recruitment and staffing decision.
