Detection of Staphilococcus Aureus by Amoxicillin Modified Natural Phosphate Electrode: Analytical Application Potato Juice

Article November 20, 2017

The electrochemical detection of staphylococcus aureus bacteria by the amoxicillin modified natural phosphate (AMX-Np) is decried. The AMX-NP electrodes were used for the detection of low optical densities of staphylococcus aureus by using the cyclic voltammetry (cv) and the square waves voltammetry (swv). Some electrochemical properties, in particular the influence of the pH, the optical density of the bacterium were studied. The elaborate electrode was the subject then of an analytical application for purposes of the detection of staphylococcus aureus in the potato juice.

Electrochemical Biosensor based on Clay for the Immediate Detection of the Bacteria

Article December 9, 2016

The electrochemical detection of staphylococcus aureus by the electrode of clay paste modified by amoxicillin (AMX-Clay) is described. The electrodes of AMX-Clay were then used to detect the staphylococcus aureus with low optical densities by using the cyclic voltammetry (CV), the voltammetry with square waves (swv) and the spectroscopy of electrochemical impedance (EIS) in physiological mediums. Electrochemical parameters like the time of deposit and the concentration of the amoxicillin on the surface of the clay electrode were optimized. The elaborate electrode showed a good electroactivity, resulting in the packing of current, in the presence of the bacteria.

An Electrochemical Sensor for the Detection of p-Anisidine through Electrochemistry

Article August 3, 2016

In this study, a sensitive electrochemical voltammetry method for the analysis of p-anisidine (pA) using a carbon paste electrochemical (CPE) modified with a porous material, such as natural phosphate (NP), was proposed. p-anisidine strongly adsorbed on a electrode surface and prepared electrode NP-CPE provides easy methods for electrochemical quantitative electro-p-anisidine. Operational parameters have been optimized, and performance voltammetric stripping was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The current intensity peaks are very linear, with good sensitivity NP- CPE.

Electro-Oxidation of Methanol at Copper and Nickel Modified Clay Electrodes

Article September 4, 2015

Cu/Clay/316L and Ni/Clay/316L anodes were prepared by the electroplating of a Cu and Ni catalyst layer onto Clay/Stainless Steel plates for a direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC). The morphology and structure of the catalyst layers were analyzed by AFM and Optical microscopy. The catalyst coating layer shows an alloy character. The results show that oxides formation at the electrode surface is necessary for the methanol oxidation.
