Football in the Chronicles of Doctor Moacyr Scliar
This text aims to demonstrate how social relationships and human behaviors are brought up by the doctor and writer Moacyr Scliar in his texts about football. Among the various textual genres produced by the author, chronicles stand out, short narratives with everyday themes in which humor, reflection and irony underlie. The main objective of this text is to identify how the author uses football in association with human behaviors and considerations about health.
The Image of the Teacher in the Chronicles of the Book The Everyday Imaginary
This article aims to show the image of the teacher in the chronicles of Moacyr Scliar's O imaginário cotidiano, relating the way the teacher is seen in the author's texts when he relates fiction to reality.
Racism in the Chronicles of Doctor Moacyr Scliar
The attention in this article falls on an expressive niche of Moacyr Scliar’s literature – the chronicles. Expanding the proposal that the writer made use of his experiences to compose his works, it is highlighted that the media, and among them cinema, are the target of the writer’s attention, they appear as a theme in his chronicles and appear in them as an intertext and intermidiatic reference. It is identified that his performance as a chronicler is marked by the logic of the press, with publications in newspapers and books. After mapping the phases attributed to his literature, there is a thematic association between medicine and cinema in his chronicles, in which cinema and film works appear as a compositional resource, as a motive or setting, to exemplify complex issues or to illustrate reflections in a concrete way about racism.
Self-Care for Arteriovenous Fistula and the Prevalence of Depression, Anxiety, Stress and Resilience: An Epidemiological and Observational Study
A doença renal crônica afeta mais de 10% da população mundial, constituindo uma preocupação global de saúde pública. Pacientes com doença renal crônica frequentemente necessitam de hemodiálise e fazem uso da fÃstula arteriovenosa, que demanda cuidados especÃficos. Esses pacientes também podem enfrentar condições como depressão, ansiedade e estresse, com a resiliência desempenhando um papel fundamental no enfrentamento dessas adversidades. O objetivo deste estudo é investigar a associação entre resiliência, sintomas de depressão, ansiedade e estresse e os comportamentos de autocuidado relacionados à fÃstula arteriovenosa em pacientes hemodialÃticos. Método: Trata-se de um estudo observacional, transversal, de caráter descritivo-analÃtico, conduzido em quatro serviços de Nefrologia na Região Centro-Oeste do Brasil. Foram aplicadas a “Escala de Resiliênciaâ€, a “Escala de Depressão, Ansiedade e Estresse†e a “Escala de Avaliação de Comportamentos de Autocuidado com a FÃstula Arteriovenosa em Hemodiáliseâ€. Resultados: Os resultados indicaram que não houve associação significativa entre os comportamentos de autocuidado e as variáveis estudadas. Conclusão: Apesar da ausência de associação entre os fatores analisados, o estudo evidenciou que a ansiedade é um sintoma predominante entre os pacientes hemodialÃticos. Além disso, destacou a importância do autocuidado com a fÃstula como componente essencial para o cuidado integral em saúde e a saúde mental desses pacientes.

This paper aims to demonstrate the conduct of the patriarchs in Moacyr Scliar’s Manual da paixão solitária. The father of the character Tamar and the character Judá are patriarchs of biblical times. In this condition they are expected to have an unblemished reputation, but that is not what seems to happen in many moments.
