Abstract

The present investigation is concerned with the two dimensional problem of micropolar elastic medium with void. Normal mode analysis is used to obtain the expression of components of stresses, displacement components and acoustic pressure of the inviscid fluid. Numerically simulated results are obtained and presented graphically to depict the impact of void for a particular model.
