Factors Affecting Customer Satisfaction on Grameenphone Users in Bangladesh
Mobile telecom sector in Bangladesh has reached at a desired level. Competition in this industry intensifies the urgency of making customer satisfied for corporate profitability and survival in a competitive marketplace. This case study is conducted on 140 Grameenphone (GP) users in Bangladesh. The Study reveals that customer extended in respect of age, income, education. Major part of customers uses value added and multiple operators’ service; therefore study indicates the urgency of customer satisfaction. The correlation with the factors leading to customer satisfaction found to be positive except network & signal coverage. Finally, multiple regression analysis indicates that GP’s service innovativeness, service reliability, service competitiveness, customer demand fulfillment to be found significant and GP’s service consistency, network & signal coverage, pricing policy, quality of the offering, value added service, contribution to society and brand value to be found insignificant for affecting customer satisfaction. On the basis of these findings; study concludes that customer satisfaction is a dynamic phenomenon. Maintaining desired level of customer satisfaction requires corporate proactive responsiveness in accessing, building & retaining satisfied customers for sustainable competitive advantages in market place.
A Comparative Study of Motivating Potential Score of Employees of Public and Private Commercial Banks: An Assessment of Demographics Influence
The article presents a theoretical-empirical reflection about concepts, models, and practices of Job Diagnostic Survey Model for computing Motivating Potential Score (MPS) of employees of public and private commercial banks in Bangladesh with demographics influence. Empirical part of this study comprises 130 samples, have been collected through a structured questionnaire. The study reveals that demographic factors such as education, marital status, gender, experience, age, salary and designation have insignificant influence on Motivating Potential Score. The study also reveals that Motivating Potential Score of private commercial bank is slightly higher than public commercial bank but mean difference is statistically insignificant on one way ANOVA statistics at the five percent level of significance. The study concludes that MPS properties closer to a particular job irrespective to the demographics and nature of the organization.

Therefore, businesses must constantly seek new and innovative ways to attract and retain a top-notch workforce, and motivate them to perform to their fullest potential. The evidence from the literature review, the key success factor of business is human capital. Human capital is an investment (HRD) in expectation of positive rate of return (innovation and creativity). Everything can be imitated but competent and innovative workforce cannot be imitated and it becomes distinctive resource regarded as competitive advantage. Job Stress- Employees Performance and Health: A Study on Commercial Bank in Bangladesh
Stress is an inevitable feature of work and personal life. Some organizations are low stress, healthy environment, whereas others are high-stress environments that may place their employees’ health at risk. The experience of orga-nizational justice and fairness is emerging as one contextual factor at work that leads to a positive low-stress work environment. This study is an initiative to explore how does job stress influences on work performance and health of employees in contemporary commercial banks in Bangladesh. It is statistically significant that stress has a positive relationship with employee’s performance. Study also reveals that there is an adverse relationship with stress and health of employee’s wellbeing in commercial banks in Bangladesh. Long working hour and workload have perceived as top most stressors of both public and private commercial banks in Bangladesh.
