The Influence of Dynamic Capabilities on Organisational Performance: An Empirical Study on Qatar’s Ministry of Finance
This research aimed to explain the influence of dynamic capabilities on organisational performance in Qatar's ministry of finance. The research population consisted of top management in which included (managers, vice manager, Department Manager, and Vice Department Manager) in Qatar's ministry of finance. A complete census method used to collect data based on the small size of the population. Structural equation modelling (SEM) used to analyse data and test hypotheses. The research results indicated that there is a statistically significant influence of dynamic capabilities with their dimensions in which were (sensing, seizing, and reconfiguration) on organisational performance.
Impact of Strategic Intelligence on the sustainable competitive advantage of Industries Qatar
The research aims to investigate the impact of strategic intelligence on the sustainable competitive advantage. The population of the study consists of managers of Industries Qatar, namely; Qatar Petrochemical Company, Qatar Fuel Additives Company, Qatar Fertiliser Company, and Qatar Steel. The researcher distributed the questionnaire to the whole population. One hundred and three questionnaires were returned and analyzed using SPSS and Amos statistical software packages. The results clarify that Strategic intelligence, as measured by foresight, future vision, strategic partnership, motivation, and systems thinking, had a significant impact on sustainable competitive advantages
Impact of Job Characteristics on Job Performance in Greater Amman Municipality
This research aims to investigate the impact of job characteristics on job performance in the Greater Amman Municipality. The population of this research consisted of all employees working in the Greater Amman Municipality. A random sample was selected to collect data from the research population, which consisted of (400) questionnaires distributed to employees, while the returned questionnaires and valid to statistical analysis were (375) questionnaires, with the responding rate (94%). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used as a statistical analysis method to achieve the research objectives and testing hypothesis.
The Effect of Total Quality Capabilities on Building Supply Chain Capabilities in Industrial Companies Listed in Qatar Stock Exchange
This study came to determine the impact of total quality capabilities on Supply chain capabilities in Industrial companies listed in the Qatar Stock Exchange. Total quality capabilities consist of three dimensions (Customer focus, Employee Participation, and Process management). The population of the study consisted of managers from six industrial companies listed in the Qatar stock exchange. To test hypotheses, structural equation model using the AMOS software version 20. The results of the study found a statistically significant effect of total quality capabilities on supply chain capabilities. Based on the study results, managers and decision-makers of industrial companies in Qatar should Pay attention to operations systems because of their role in arranging production equipment to deal with changes in customer orders.
Do Employee Engagement Affects Job Performance: A Study of Telecommunication Companies in Jordan
This study aims at investigating the impact of employee engagement practices on job performance of telecommunication companies in Jordan. The population of the study consists of the employees working at the centers of telecommunication companies in Jordan counted (468). A convenience sample estimated (300) employees. A questionnaire was used as a major tool for data collection adopted from the previous studies, to answer the study questions, and test the hypotheses SPSS was used. The study finding showed that employee engagement practices have a statistically significant effect on Job Performance of telecommunication companies in Jordan. Based on the results, the researcher proposes several recommendations to managers and decision makers of the telecommunication companies in Jordan.
Impact of Electronic Human Resources Management on the Organizational Learning at the Private Hospitals in the State of Qatar
The study aimed to measure and analyzes the impact of electronic human resources management on the organizational learning at the private hospitals in Qatar State. The study population consisted of all employees in the private hospitals in the State of Qatar. The study sample included the managers, head departments and employees, the unit of analysis included on a random sample that estimated (372) respondents. To achieve the study objectives, descriptive analytical method was used through a questionnaire that used a major tool for data collection developed at the hands of elite researchers and writers in the field of the study variables. A number of statistical tools and methods were used such as Mean, Standard Deviation, and Multiple Regression. After the analysis of the collected data and hypotheses, a number of results were reached: There was a significant impact of electronic human resources management on learning organization in hospitals in Qatar State. Based on the findings of the present study, the researcher recommends managers and decision makers of the Qatari private hospitals adapt to the rapid change in the business environment using the EHRM application system to enhance its performance and achieve competitive advantage.
Impact of Electronic Customer Relationship Management on Customers Satisfaction of the Five Stars Hotels in Kuwait
- The study aims to investigate the impact of electronic customer relationship management on customers satisfaction of the five stars hotels in Kuwait, four dimensions of the Electronic Customer Relationship Management namely (Website design, ability to search on Website, Privacy and security, and Delivery time), the customers satisfaction was the dependent variable. The study population consisted of all of the customers of the five stars hotels in Kuwait (15) hotels. A convenience sampling was taken from customers staying in five stars hotels in Kuwait from different nationalities. To collect data from the study sample, a questionnaire was built based on the previous studies. To achieve the study objective, and test the hypotheses a statistical program SPSS was used. Results of the study indicated that Website design, Search ability on Website, Privacy and security, and Delivery time had a significant and positive impact on Customer satisfaction. Based on the study results, the researchers recommend the managers and decision makers of the five stars hotels in Kuwait to develop mechanisms to enhance the ease of use of the website of the five stars hotels in Kuwait and avoid complexity, and to focus on training their employees in communication and problem-solving skills.
The Impact of High Performance Human Resources Practices on in-Role and Innovative Job Performance: The Mediation Role of Affective Commitment
This study was steered in order to identify the impact of high performance human resources practices on job performance; in-role job performance and innovative job performance and to examine the mediating role of affective commitment on the effect of high performance human resources practices on job performance; in-role job performance and innovative job performance. A sample of 600 managers and employee was selected randomly from industrial organizations in Irbid, Jordan. Four hundred and sixty eight of the distributed questionnaires were completed with a response rate of 78%. The results highlighted positive effects of high performance human resources practices on job performance; in-role job performance and innovative job performance. In consonance with the results, affective commitment significantly and positively mediated the impact of high performance human resources practices on job performance; in-role job performance and innovative job performance. Full mediation of affective commitment was found on the effect of high performance human resources practices on in-role job performance and a partial mediation of affective commitment on the effect of high performance human resources practices on innovative job performance. On account of the results, practitioners are required to search for tools that enhance employee’s attachment to their organizations. On the other hand, researchers should car out further studies to investigate the same variables using samples from other sectors.
Impact of Human Resources Management Practices on Organizational Commitment of the Employees of Commercial Banks in Jordan
This study aims to examining the impact of Human Resources Management Practices on organizational commitment of the employees of commercial Banks in Jordan. Human Resources Management Practices which were included in the study are: staffing, training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal, on the other hand, the Organizational commitment was measured by three dimensions: affective Commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment which was developed by Allen and Meyer (1990). The study population consists of all employees working in commercial banks in Jordan, samples of 425 employees were selected to represent the study population, and the researchers distributed the questionnaires to the study sample. To achieve the study objective, and to test hypotheses, the statistical program of social studies (SPSS) was used. The study findings showed that human resources management practices (staffing, training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal) had a significant and positive effect on the employees' commitment of commercial Banks in Jordan. Based on the study results the researcher recommends managers and decision makers of commercial banks in Jordan to activate Human resources practices more inside the banks, develop the mechanisms and procedures to demonstrate them, and follow effective styles to execute them and show more interest in the process of employees’ empowerment.
Talent Management Strategies as a Critical Success Factor for Effectiveness of Human Resources Information Systems in Commercial Banks Working in Jordan
This study aimed to investigate the impact of Talent Management strategies on effectiveness Human Resources Information Systems in commercial banks working in Jordan, the Talent Management strategies represented by (attracting talents strategy, Developing talents strategy, Retention of talents strategy, and Succession strategy), and effectiveness Human Resources Information Systems. The study population consisted of all employees of commercial banks working in the capital of Jordan, a random simple sample was selected from the study population estimated (310) respondents. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used through a questionnaire that used a major tool for data collection developed at the hands of elite researchers and writers in the field of the study variables. A number of statistical tools and methods were used such as Mean, Standard Deviation, one sample T-test, Multiple Regression, and Path analysis. The results showed that attracting talents strategy, Developing talents strategy, Retention of talents strategy, and Succession strategy, had a significant and positive effect on effectiveness Human Resources Information Systems in commercial banks working in Jordan, based on the study results, talent management strategies may be considered as critical success factors for effectiveness Human Resources Information Systems in commercial banks working in Jordan, the researcher recommends manager and decision makers to Offer an attractive career path for different groups of talents will also help to prevent putting people into the leadership path that actually do not want to be leaders or do not have the right competencies.
