These determinants are its basis in the reconciliation of those three theories of exogenous growth, endogenous growth and the convergence between these two forms of growth. These hypotheses are tested in an econometric study of dynamic panel data from five BRICS countries during the period 2000-2012. The econometric model in this article is presented in the form of a conditional convergence equation to treat the origins of economic growth.
