They must face the evolution of the consumer, taking into account their new preferences and lifestyle. It is important to study the segment of supermarkets and specialty stores as well as knowing the projection of the main consumers in the coming years.

Research & Development as a Strategy for Survival in Mexican Companies

The aim of this paper is to analyze the processes of adaptation and survival of companies in Mexico to compete in increasingly demanding markets, that create uncertainty them. In this context, some companies have decided to develop adaptation strategies through research and development (R & D). This study, being exploratory, provides empirical evidence on what factors (internal and external) leading the entrepreneurs to assess the implementation of R & D in their companies.

Institutionalismand Culture in Strategies Of Multinational Firms: The Case of Johnson Controls Inc.

The aim of this paper is to analyze both internal and external aspects that may pose a risk to the operations of the subsidiaries of the multinational Johnson Controls Inc. in U.S. and Mexico from the point of view based on institutions; the main challengeto initiate the investigation is do have some impact in the culmination of the goals both of workers and of the same organization?, how to influence the institutions in the organizational environment, for the decommissioning of some branch/subsidiary. The method used was Analytics to evaluate all the information obtained from the company and thus achieve the objectives required for this research, applied the theory based on the vision of institutions in multinational companies. For results of the analysis, we first had to get to know the real development of multinational enterprises, and then focus on the enterprise objective Johnson Controls Inc.

The literature existing on entrepreneurship implicitly assumes that entrepreneurship and government and economic growth are positively related with each other and there is a positive correlation among them. However, few studies, whether theoretical or empirical, analyze such relation in an explicit manner. This paper aims to study the entrepreneurship notion and the barriers of entrepreneurship and mainly the role of government in enhancing entrepreneurship in the society.

STRATEGIES AND PERFORMANCE OF NEW MEXICAN EMERGING MULTINATIONAL ENTERPRISES

This paper is aimed to analyze the rise of New Mexican emerging multinational enterprises (MexEMNEs) into the global market. There is a growing interest in the study of these emerging multinationals among scholars. Several theoretical perspectives are reviewed which can give an explanation of the emergence of Mexican multinationals and support their expansion in overseas markets. Then, it is analyzed the strategies these multinationals implement and their performance and in doing so, several profiles of MexEMNEs are described and examined. It is intended to set up scenarios for future development. Finally, it is concluded that the survivor Mexican firms of this process of “creative destruction” have transformed into capable and innovative MNEs in order to look and move ahead and take advantage of the challenging new opportunities.
