Artificial Intelligence (AI) was mostly regarded as science-fiction in the past but with the recent advancements in technology, it has silently crept into our lives. From social media to computer games to self-driving cars to military gadgets to personal digital assistants, AI is everywhere. This progress is also due to a paradigm shift in AI community where current trend is to make AI stronger in specific domains rather than making a human-like AI which can do anything. Resultantly, AI can now out-perform humans in many areas. But this progress of AI is scary for some people who are predicting the â€œrise of machinesâ€ in half a century or so if AI progress remains unbridled.

A Brief Survey of Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is among the most promising technologies of the recent days, with the potential to reach $204 billion by the end of 2016. Almost all major tech companies provide cloud services of one sort or another like computing clusters and cloud storage. Cloud services can be provisioned as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and they can be deployed as private, community, public or hybrid clouds. Cloud computing provides several advantages like ease-of-deployment, no maintenance and up-front costs, and rapid and efficient scalability. But it does pose several challenges with regards to security of data and privacy issues, and many security sensitive companies tend to shy away from cloud services due to this very reason.

Getting to social media platforms for example, Twitter, Facebook LinkedIn and Google+ via mediums like web and the web 2.0 has become the most convenient way for users. Individuals are turning out to be more inspired by and depending on such platforms for data, news and thoughts of different clients on various topics. The substantial dependence on these social platforms causes them to produce huge information described by three computational issues in particular; volume, velocity and dynamism. These issues frequently make informal organization information exceptionally complex to break down physically, bringing about the related utilization of computational method for dissecting them. Information mining gives an extensive variety of strategies for recognizing valuable information from huge datasets like patterns, examples and standards. Various data mining strategies are utilized for useful data recovery, factual displaying and machine learning. These systems generally do a sort of pre-processing of data, performs the data analysis and information. This study examines distinctive information mining procedures utilized as a part of mining different parts of the informal community over decades going from the chronicled systems to the forward model.

The performance management makes sure that employees are aware of the goal and objective that they have to achieve. The organization has certain goals and objectives. And it is the best in interest of organization of company and employee that the objectives of both must be in sync. Thus setting up objectives in advance helps the company and organization to be in same page. Further performance management helps the employee to grow with the company. Further this is a process that eliminate the difference and conflicts between the two. Performance management also helps in identifying key resource for the organization who can be rewarded and groomed to be the stars of the future (Walton, R 1985). Further performance management also helps in setting up the reward structure as to what kind of performance must get what kind of award. These incentives the employee to see what is expected and what in return they are going to get.

The Impact of E-Commerce on Retail

The research focus of my paper is e-commerce influence as new category of sales activity in US. The problem understanding is described in conceptual model below. In the end I want to know do e-commerce any influence on sales volume in US market and in retail sales category. I have to use methods which extract the dependences between how e-commerce is performing, and what is an influence of e-commerce branch on US market. The research method of to solve this tasks is multiple linear regression. I select this method in statistics, linear regression is an approach for modeling the relationship between a scalar dependent variable y and one or more explanatory variables (David A. Freedman, 2009).

Why American Minorities go to the Entrepreneurship?

In this paper, I have studied the situation of small businesses that owned by ethnic minorities in the United States. I choose the African-American women as a sample to examine the position of their small businesses. Literature review and interactive interviews were used to find the best results. I went through the obstacles faced their businesses and how minorities were affected by the recession. Also, the reasons for increasing the number of entrepreneurs in the recent period, especially African-American women. The paper will end with statistical comparison and the reasons women choose entrepreneurship.

The Effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility in Saudi Arabia

In this article we have briefly discussed about the corporate social responsibilities in Saudi Arabia and their effectiveness. After the introduction advantages and disadvantages of CSR are discussed. After that implementation of CSR in Saudi Arabia is discussed giving an overview of how it is executed. After giving some positive developments seen after CSR, the drawbacks of improperly governed CSR are discussed. In the end a conclusion is made highlighting what steps should Saudi Arabia should take in order to overcome these problems.
