Adaptogenic Activity of Morus Alba Extracts in Wistar Rats
Morus alba was broadly used with a long history of traditional medicinal remedy for the regimen of various illnesses. The current investigation was designed to evaluate anti-stress activity of aqueous and ethanol extracts of Morus alba. However, non-significant changes in the urinary excretion of Homovanillic acid (HVA), urinary vanillymandelic acid (VMA), 6-β-OH-cortisol, 5- hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5HIAA) and ascorbic acid was perceived when compared to basal levels in normal animals.
In vitro Cytotoxic Screening of Combination of Honey Bee Venom and Ethanol Extract of Zingiberaceae and i vivo Anticancer Evaluation of them against DLA and EAC Bearing Mice

The cytotoxic potency of combination of honey bee venom and ethanol extract of Zingiber officinale Roscoe was evaluated on cultured cancer cells Hep-2 by sulphoradamine B assay (IC50=53 μg/ml) and moreover, it was invested by brine shrimp lethality assay (IC50=48.31 μg/ml), tryphan blue exclusion assay (IC50=37.49 μg/ml), and MTT assay. MTT assay exhibited that combination of honey bee venom and ethanol extract of Zingiber officinale Roscoe has more cytotoxicity potency towards human breast adenocarcinoma cells (MCF-7) than normal Chinese hamster lung fibroblast cells (V79). In EAC ascites model significantly ascending of life span with restoring of haematological parameters and additionally, in DLA solid tumour model crucial decline in the tumour weight and tumour volume was observed as compared to control.
Synergic Anticancer Activity of Different Extracts of Ziziphusa Mauritiana and Punica Grantum L on the Inhibition of Hela Cell Proliferation and Tumor Growth in EAC Bearing Mice

Development of phenolic compounds or extracts has become a major area medical research due to their cancer preventive effects through induction apoptosis and prevention of oxidative stress associated cancer. The present scrutiny was designed to investigate the synergic anticancer effect of Punica grantum L and Ziziphus maritiana. The ethanol extract of combination of both plants were found to be the most effective in BSL and trypan blue assay, also stimulated caspase-8 and-9 protease by fold increase in Ac-IETD-pNA. The expression of P53 in cytoplasm and nuclei and the increase of TdT in the nuclei of carcinoma cells in mice treated while Bcl2 expression was declined. Consequently, the synergic anticancer activity of ethanol extract of combination of both plants was proved.
