Mawlana Noorani could be found busy in politics even before the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Mawlana Shah Ahmad Noorani entered into Pakistani Parliament through the general elections held in 1970. He always struggled for the democratization and Islamization of Pakistani society through constitutional means. When the Interim Constitution was presented in the National Assembly on April 14, 1972 by the Bhutto Government, Mawlana Noorani on that very day urged the President to prepare a constitution based on the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah and on the twenty-two points of the Ulama. A twenty-five member Committee, which was entrusted with the task of preparing the draft for permanent constitution, Mawlana was one of them. Mawlana Noorani was one of the signatories of the “Constitutional Accord” signed by the opposition parties and the then Government on October 20, 1972.

The algae composition and physico-chemical parameters of Awon Reservoir were investigated for a period of four months (wet and dry seasons), this was done to examine the effect of seasonal variation on phytoplankton. The algae comprised a total of twenty-two species belonging to four divisions: bacillariophyta, chlorophyta, euglenophyta and cyanophyta.Navicula meniceculus, Gyrosigma scalproides, Closterium archerianum and C. dianae were the dominant species. The physico-chemical parameters determined were higher in the dry season than wet season. The values of physico-chemical obtained fell within the maximum allowable limit set by United Environment Protection Agency.

At present tourism has been seriously considered in the national sustainable development strategies of many developing countries and placed on the agenda of many international conferences on Sustainable Development/ Tourism in a broader sense has existed for a long time in this Hill region of Darjeeling in West Bengal. The tourism activities are still in its conventional state, not put in the track of modern concept though efforts are being made to give it the real shape under eco-tourism but no avail. Sustainable tourism development provides the opportunity to take proactive approaches based on broad participation by stakeholders, which would contribute to more effective policies and plans. Based on secondary sources, literature search and discussions with key stake holders and interaction with the tourist, the existing tourists’ scenario and situation were studied. The information collected from different sources has been verified with the field experience. Darjeeling receives around 3.5 lakhs domestic tourists annually, besides 50,000 foreigners. The present study attempt to identify the major issues and challenges of the region regarding its natural resources which can be utilized in a proper scientific manner through a planned natural resource management with active participation of local people and other government and non-government organizations in a sustainable manner. The major conclusion that has emerged from the present study is that the overzealous and unplanned growth of tourism and limited infrastructure in the Darjeeling hills of India is identified and it has been suggested that sustainable tourism development should be properly adopted to arrest further environmental decay and encourage a new approach to planning in the region.

Contract farming requires a long term commitment from both the contracted growers and sponsoring firms. Exploitative arrangements can jeopardize agribusiness investments. The study revealed that the contracted sugarcane growers reacted significantly towards immediate payment, arranging credit for infrastructure, implements and machineries on custom hiring, increasing risk bearing abilities, conflict resolution, quality production, transparency in measurement, contingent measures in catastrophes, exposure visit etc. The sponsoring firms have to analyze all these reactions of the respondents and extend all possible supports for sustainability of the contract farming in sugarcane cultivation.

It is now well known that pyrazolic and pyrazolinic derivatives are a class of heterocyclic compounds with high biological activity. In our laboratory, many studies have been made on the synthesis, stereochemistry, the complexing power and biological properties of various pyrazolic and pyrazolinic structures. The new pyrazolines presented in this work were prepared by cycloaddition of 1,3-dipole (the diarylnitrilimine) on eugenol and acetyleugenol which are two natural extracted dipolarophiles from cloves. The structures of the obtained cycloadducts have been studied and confirmed on the basis of IR spectroscopic parameters, NMR-1H and 13C.

A CT scan is a tool that has been demonstrated to be optimal for response evaluation in gastrointestinal stroma tumors that undergo targeted therapy. In this study, response and evaluation of gastrointestinal stroma tumors were compared with the use of targeted therapy according to CHOI criteria in Oncology Siglo XXI Hospital patients. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study from January 2009 to January 2014 in patients with a confirmed diagnosis with access to CT scan; a response to the treatment was observed according to CHOI criteria. Results: A total of 31 patients were enrolled in this study, 61% received targeted therapy with Imatinib and 38% received second-line Imatinib and Sunitinib treatment, with a minimum follow up of 6 months and a maximum of one year. According to CHOI criteria, 45.2% of the patients reached CR, 19.4% had SD, 19.4% reached PR, and 16.1% had PD.

The rise of China is indeed no less than a miracle as the state has shown splendid economic growth in the period of few decades. This rise has managed to attract the world wide attention. China’s behavior, on the other hand, shows that the state is more inclined towards the economic interdependence thereby creating a harmonious environment which will ensure world peace and stability. Her regional policy shows that China not only wants to develop sound economic relations with all but also desires to sort out differences through dialogue and consensus. China has by far avoided making alliances at both the regional and international level. Furthermore, China’s growing economic relations with United States in particular point towards her peaceful rise.

The current study attempts to study the interlinkage between the USA and Islamic countries. The study had chosen the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JKSE) from Indonesia, TASE from Israel (TA100), Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) from Malaysia, Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) from Pakistan and NYSE from USA for the purpose of the study. The closing data from 1st April 2005 to 31st Marc 2015 has been taken as the sample. For the analysis study used Auto Correlation, Unit root test, Granger Causality and Vector auto regression.

The employee satisfaction is an important aspect to run any of the organization. The case is same in the education industry as well. The quality of the student depend on the quality of teaching and teachers which is directly linked to the satisfaction. The current study attempt to study the satisfaction of the government schools teachers in Ludhiana (Punjab).
