The Moroccan financial market experienced a major modernization wave resulting in an increasing capitalization, a significant “volume & value” of business and a growing number of new IPOs in order to transform the Moroccan economy from a debt economy to a capital market economy and therefore achieve an optimal state of resources allocation. The informational efficiency of the Moroccan financial market has recently become a serious topic that arouses much interest among researchers and practitioners leading to an increasing number of studies in this area. The objective of our paper work is to investigate the weak form efficiency of the Moroccan stock market. We first remind what we mean by “market efficiency” and also the debate on this issue in developed and emerging markets, African markets and Morocco stock market. We then explain in depth the main Author α: Doctorant, Ecole Nationale des Sciences Appliquées (ENSA), Agadir, Maroc. The time series considered consist of daily data of four stock indexes: MASI (Moroccan All Shares Index), BNQ (Banking sector index), ASSUR (Insurance sector index) and IMMO (Real Estate sector index) from January 1st 2002 to December 31st 2013. The results of these various tests strongly reject the weak form efficiency hypothesis and an analysis of this inefficiency and its potential sources is given in conclusion that highlights causes that might be the origin to the markets dysfunction anomalies.
Financial Theories say that Investor should act rationally. Emotions do have a powerful impact on everyday decisions we make. They not only shape behavior but also affect every decision taken by an individual. Similarly regret is the most common phenomena observed in individuals especially when they take investing decisions. In the present study researchers have tried to find out influence of Investor Psychology on Regret Aversion by using General Linear Model. The results are useful in Indian context.
ECG signals in measurements are contaminated by noises including power line interference. In recent years, adaptive filters with different approaches have been investigated to remove power line interference in ECG.In this paper, an adaptive filter is proposed to cancel power line interference in ECG signals. The proposed algorithm is experimented with MIT-BIH ECG signals data base. The algorithm’s results are compared with the results of other adaptive filter algorithms using Least Mean Square (LMS), Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) by Signal to Noise (SNR). Theses works are performed by LabVIEW software.
The economic importance of sweetpotato as a carbohydrate food and feed for man and animals is well known in the world all over. Sweetpotatoes are crops vegetatively propagated from vines, root slips (sprouts), and farmers often take vines for propagation from their own field year after year. Therefore, virus diseases are inevitably transmitted with propagation materials to newly planted field, resulting often in a marked decrease in yield. A virus infection is often spread by insects that pierce and suck. As is the case, no living organism such as sweetpotato is absolutely virus-free in its system. Sweetpotato genotypes accumulate viruses and the virus load is the major problem. Sweetpotato virus disease (SPVD) occurs after infection of two viruses: the sweetpotato feathery mottle virus (SPFMV) and the sweetpotato chlorotic stunt virus (SPCSV). These two viruses distort, stunted, cause chlorosis and narrowing of leaves leading to photosynthetic disturbance. SPCSV is the more problematic component of SPVD, because yield losses due to SPFMV - without SPCSV infection – are relatively low and SPFMV resistance of sweetpotato breaks down after the plant is infected by SPCSV. Of all the sweetpotato genotypes, the ones mostly affected by viruses are the orange fleshed sweetpotato genotypes.
Bangladesh is a developing country and most of the people live in under the poverty line. As a non-profit sector of a country, beside Government Organizations (GO’s), Non- Government Organizations (NGO’s) are truly vital cog in the paradigm of social development in Bangladesh. It is generalized that Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s) and NGO’s have created jointly a new era of partnership in poverty alleviation activities, gender sensitive issues, education, health and been giving competent sustainability in the socioeconomic conditions of Bangladesh. Since the NGO’s are aimed to spreading awareness in people, strengthening and institutionalization of democracy promotion as well as ensuring maximum people participation in community driven development approach. “Jagorani chakro” is one of the wellknown and dedicated NGO’s in Bangladesh. The paper represents the microcredit system of this NGO’s and how the rural women play an important role in their family and society using microcredit loan.
Researchers are increasing their attention to the multitasking demands of current organizational settings and focusing on the Time-use related values and strengths of individuals. Several researches have been carried out to explore and examine the dimension of polychronicity in this perspective. Polychronicity is the attitude and preferences associated with time use and it has been identified as a critical competency in organizing various life domains. However, there has been substantial ambiguity existing in the literature and empirical researches regarding psychological predictors of polychronicity. The incongruent conceptualization of the construct might have revealed contradictory results in several studies across the globe. The present study conceptualized polychronicity as an individual difference construct and explored the personality predictors of polychronicity among 902 young adults. By using a cross sectional, descriptive design the participants were administered HEXACO-Personality Inventory, Sensory Sensitivity scale (FCB-TI) and Multitasking Preference Inventory (MPI). Correlational analysis and Hierarchical regression was used to analyze the data. Results revealed that Polychronicity was significantly related to Personality and Sensory Sensitivity. The results of hierarchical regression showed that Sensory Sensitivity, Conscientiousness and Extraversion as significant predictors of polychronicity among young adults.
Our approach incorporates the effective stepwise CO2 purification in the free atmosphere by spraying of alkaline compounds together with acoustic acting inside the cloud via an aircraft. The alkalis cause significantly increases of the CO2 solubility in further rainy droplets during their gravitational fall to provide the effective carbon transport from under-cloud atmosphere to the ground. The second step proposes an acoustic influence where droplets are triggered inside clouds by sound waves for coalescence. Special acoustic generators are considered, also optimal regimes for cloud droplets have been found at low frequencies with necessary acoustical power. The proposed alkaline method can compensate for annual carbon emission by its application at 0.4% – 0.1% at our planet surface.

The paper examines the symbolic death of monarchs in the process of the traditional installation in Idoma land as a paradigm for fighting corruption in Nigeria. It observes that there are a lot of lessons that could be learnt and imbibed by Nigerians and the Nigerian leadership from the aforementioned, in the fight against corruption that has become the bane or hurdle to all our developmental aspirations as individuals and as a collective. This has informed the study. In order to catapult the country into greater heights for sustainable growth and development in all ramifications, there is every need as a matter of urgent national importance for corruption and all corrupt tendencies to be tackled head long and reduced to the barest minimum. One way of doing this, is through the employment of the beliefs and practices surrounding the symbolic death of monarchs in the process of installation in Idoma land. Whereby, monarchs become death to all negative tendencies in the discharge of their duties to those they rule or reign over, including but not limited to corruption and corrupt tendencies.
Foliar epidermal features of four Nigerian species of the family Clusiaceae were studied. This was with a view to exploiting their systematic and taxonomic values to aid their taxonomy. Representatives of the four species were obtained from various parts in Southern Nigeria and passed through standard treatments to make permanent anatomical slides for the study by light microscopy (LM). Micrographic evidences of distinguishing and affinity taxonomic features were recorded. Variations in stomata, epidermal and guide cells attributes were obvious and they could be used as systematic evidence to taxonomically delineate these taxa even at generic levels. Data accruing from this study could help to resolve the taxonomic problems in this family and confirm their identity.
