The current day development models proclaim and promise for self sufficiency and sustainability for the masses especially whenever there is a debate over rural development issue in the third world countries like Pakistan. In fact the today’s world is fast approaching the sustainable livelihood strategies which unfortunately failed to bring about the results assured. Failure of Green Revolution has made the scholars, professionals and development practitioners to repondoner the western development model particularly those promising agricultural development. The western developmental approaches basically imbedded in the capitalistic ethos resulted for radical changes while increasing the rural dependence on the urban areas and even upon the international multinational corporations. These new interventions erased the traditional self reliance of country side and thus became an indirect reason for rural urban migration. The current paper is an attempt to throw light on the effects of modern technology upon the cultural life of people of a village Sacha Soda in the district Sheikhupura of the Punjab province. The paper evaluates the indigenous people’s views on Mechanized Agricultural Methods in terms of Economic Sustainability and Cultural Compatibility.
This article is based on the theory of vortex gravitation and physical abnormalities of the Earth - slowing its rotation. Defined orbital acceleration, weight, approach to the Sun and the age of our planet. Offered to justify the creation of planetary material in the center of the Earth torsion, and not as the accumulation of cosmic dust and meteorites from outer space.
The landless livestock owners who rear different livestock for their livelihood are the vulnerable groups struggling to more out of poverty. Information is an important input in development. This is especially so when the people are more disadvantaged with other resources like land and capital. Information is an important factor that can help the livestock owners to raise their livestock better and to achieve more certainty and security in life. Information has economic value if it leads to the satisfaction of human desires. Information and Communication technologies can play a pivotal role in improving access to information by the poor.
Abstract- Wireless sensor networks are self-organizing networks in which sensor nodes with limited resource are scattered in an area of interest to gather information. WSNs need to have effective node’s energy management methods for stable and seamless communication. Power efficient clustering is done in WSN to prolong the life of the network. In WSN, many algorithms are developed to save energy of sensor nodes and to increase the lifetime of the network. This paper provides an energy efficient clustering algorithm inspired by prophet routing protocol to enhance the cluster based operation of the nodes. Adaptive learning is implemented for head selection for efficientcommunication. Simulation results confirm the efficiency of the mechanism.
Bianchi type-IX cosmological model with variable equation of state (EoS) parameter have been investigated in general scalar-tensor theory of gravitation proposed by Sen and Dunn (J. Math. Phys. 12:578, 1971) when universe is filled with Dark Energy. The field equations have been solved by considering the scale factors in two different forms (i) ()ltretR1= , where r and l are positive constants and (ii) ()()ntR1sinhξ=, where ξ and n are positive constants, which render time dependent deceleration parameter. The physical and geometrical properties of the models are also discussed.
Although coronary heart disease (CHD) primarily occurs in patients over the age of 40, younger men and women can be involved. Majority of studies have used an age cut-off of 40 to 45 years to define "young" patients with CHD or acute myocardial infarction (MI). The same age definition will be used in this article. The prevalence of CHD in younger subjects is difficult to establish accurately since it is frequently a silent process. Acute Myocardial infarction in young females is an uncommon occurrence and even if we see cases, very few of them have shown to have greater than one vessel coronary artery disease. When a young female present with acute MI, the presentation is very vague and can be easily missed so, presence or absence of cardiovascular risk factors regardless of age should be the key factor in making a decision to perform coronary angiography and full cardiovascular workup. We report here 31 year old female with multiple cardiovascular risk factors who presented with an atypical chest pain with normal EKG in emergency room and was ultimately diagnosed with triple vessel coronary artery disease. In this paper we will describe a case to describe the importance of early coronary angiography and cardiovascular workup in presence of significant risk factors despite atypical presentation and younger age of patient.
The Paper seeks to agonizingly trace the reasons why the opposition MDC-T party resoundingly lost the 31 July 2013 poll which against all odds it was expected to resoundingly win. Proverbially speaking, ‘tinoti musha ndibaba’ (meaning for anything that goes wrong with any business organization, the Chief Executive Officer will be held accountable first). For that reason alone and nothing else, Morgan Tsvangirai, the opposition MDC party leader will be the first to come up for public scrutiny. Next is his opposition MDC party. What was its contribution to this jigsaw puzzle? Next in that order are the contr ibution of the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union – Patr iotic Front (ZANU PF), the people in general the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the African Union (AU) and finally the SADC facilitator, Jacob Zuma, the South African President from 2009 to date. To wind up the long and fascinating discourse the Author will, as per his tradition, proffer a Summary, Conclusio n and some Recommendations primarily designed for risk treatment.
In recent years, China’s government has enforced several adjustment steps in relation to administrative divisions. It brought all kinds of the economic effects to city’s development and reflected the government’s exploration on urban economic spatial adjustment. This paper chose Huangpu District in China as the research case, the empirical analysis results showed that these boundary adjustments led to a series of economic and policy effects. These effects collectively advanced high regulatory demands for government behaviours in the context of an internationalization tourism strategy. Local governments should cope with the new opportunities and challenges caused by these adjustments to develop the tourism economy.
This contribution contains data on thermal stability of certain materials whose initial precursor is graphite. Graphite was oxidized separately and in a mixture with fullerene C60. The prepared oxides were processed with vacuum filtration to produce foils and their morphology and thermal stability was described. The graphene oxides reacted with nano-cellulose and ß- glucan to produce composites. The prepared composites in the form of foils were tested for thermal stability and further analyzed e.g.by FT-IR, SEM, etc.
A direct reaction with liquid bromine was used to prepare bromo fullerene C60 Br14-18. The brominated derivative reacted with previous lyprepared graphene-oxide (hereinafter GO), according to a method described by Hummer. The same method was used to oxidize graphite alone. The prepared graphite fullerene foil was brominated with liquid bromine and the graphene-oxide foil was reacted with bromo fullerene. FTIR analysis of all the obtained products was performed and also TG Aanalysis to investigate particularly their thermal stability. The brominated products demonstrate lower thermal effects when thermally decomposed which is caused by the retarding ability of bromine.
