Grid computing is a computing framework to meet growing demands for running heterogeneous grid enables applications. A grid system is composed of computers which are separately located and connected with each other through a network. Grids are systems that involve resource sharing and problem solving in heterogeneous dynamic grid environments. Here we present five different approaches/algorithms for resource allocation/ Scheduling in grid computing environment.
In this paper online estimation of stator resistance in indirect vector control (IVC) of Induction motor (IM) is proposed using fuzzy logic controller (FLC). It is renowned that stator resistance of Induction motor which is sensitive to temperature rise in machine leads to performance deterioration as resistance used in controller is dissimilar from actual stator resistance. Here the effect of change in stator resistance is examined in terms of stator current, rotor flux and torque and corrected using fuzzy logic controller algorithm. The proposed algorithm was tested using MATLAB/SIMULINK software and practically implemented in Field programming Gate array (FPGA) Controller.
In Bangladesh power crisis is one of the great problems. The whole of the probable sector is affected by it. The effects of power crisis is destroyed our economic growth. The total development of a country’s depends on the power generation. On the other hand when the load shedding is occurred, then the students of the university are basically affected, then they do not attain their lesson attentively and study their lesson attentively. Even they do not able to complete their laboratory works, complete their thesis and their class notes and so on. But, there is a huge opportunity to back up the load shedding using Solar and Biogas energy. This paper presents a design and analysis of Solar based power plant using sunlight and Biogas based plant using Human and Kitchen waste of the University for Load shedding Backup and the cost analysis results that, the system is economically feasible for University campus.
As chip density keeps doubling during each course of generation, the use of NoC has become an integral part of modern microprocessors and a very prevalent architectural feature of all types of SoCs. To meet the ever expanding communication challenges, diverse and novel NoC solutions are being developed which rely on accurate modeling and simulations to evaluate the impact and analyze their performances. Consequently, this aggravates the need to rely on simulation tools to probe and optimize these NoC architectures. In this work, we present NC-G-SIM (Network on Chip-Generic-SIMulator), a highly flexible, modular, cycle-accurate, configurable simulator for NoCs. To make NC-G-SIM suitable for advanced NoC exploration, it is made highly generic that supports extensive range of cores in any kind of topology whether 2D, 3D or irregular. Simulation results have been evaluated in terms of latencies, throughput and the amount of energy consumed during the simulation period at different levels.
This paper represents a logically simple and efficient electronic technique for restraining overtaking of vehicles on bridge automatically where overtaking is strictly prohibited. For this purpose we have proposed Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technique. To accomplish this every vehicle should carry a RFID tag containing some specific information about the vehicle. RFID readers will collect information from the tag in two different points on the bridge and control logic unit will compare the information, manipulate them and make necessary decision to restrain the vehicle. The additional circuitry will then execute the decision of control logic unit. This is an effective and flawless approach for controlling the overtaking and the terrible consequences. Moreover this technique is very handy and easy to implement which can work in any atmospheric condition.

An efficient in vitro regeneration system for Tori (Brassica campestris) -7 was developed from calli of hypocotyls and cotyledonary leaves. The optimum medium for callus induction was found with 0.5 mgl-1 2, 4- dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). The best shooting medium contained 3.0 mgl-1 6, benzyl amino purine (BAP), 0.1 mgl-1 naphtalene acetic acid (NAA), and 5.0 mgl-1 AgNO3. Maximum number of shoots were produced when 0.5 mgl- 1 kinetin was used, whereas the combined effect of 2.0 mgl-1 BAP, 0.1 mgl-1 NAA, and 5.0 mgl-1 AgNO3 regenerated calli the most. The effect of AgNO3 was found for callogenesis at 0.5 mgl-1 and for regeneration at 5.0 mgl-1. In vitro regenerated shoots of Tori-7 developed roots on medium with 1.0 mgl-1 indole 3- butyric acid (IBA). The developed efficient in vitro regeneration protocol can be used as a baseline for Agrobacteriummediated genetic transformation of the studied plants.
This project work was conducted in Rajshahi district under Barind area of Bangladesh to estimate the consumptive use (Cu) and crops irrigation water requirement (C.I.R) from irrigated rice and wheat fields. The work was carried out to compare the Cu and C.I.R at maximum and minimum temperature during pre (1964-1985) & post (1986-2008) implementation of Barind Integrated Area Development Project (BIADP). From 1964 to 1985 the rainfall trend was decreasing and maximum, minimum temperature and sunshine hours was in increasing trend. For this result before implementation of the project consumptive use and crop water requirement was less. From 1986 to 2008 the rainfall was in increasing trend and maximum, minimum temperature and sunshine hours was in decreasing trend. For this result after implementation of the project consumptive use and crop water requirement was comparatively increased. The consumptive use and crop water requirement for individual year from 1975 to 1984 was not uniform. On the contrary from 1999 to 2008 these values were uniform.
The most common cause of lower urinary tract obstruction in male infants is posterior urethral valves with an incidence about one patient in each 5000–8000 infants [1]. A better understanding of the exact cause of the congenital obstruction of the male posterior urethra, prevention of postnatal bladder and renal injury, and the development of safe methods to treat urethral obstruction prenatally (and thereby avoiding the bladder and renal damage due to obstructive uropathy) is the goals for the care of children with posterior urethral valves [2].
