The main objective of the present paper is to establish a summation formula in connection with Hypergeometric and Gamma function.
In order for the initial result of this research to be obtained scientifically, a decision was made on setting the limits of the universe of users to be studied. For this end, the research was centered on the users of a Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, college and the EXCEL and MATLAB software were used. The Fuzzy Logic was employed to assess IPod usability. The methodology presented here by is unprecedented and was developed by a 25-student study group of the above-mentioned college in their research.
Introduction : Perfect and well-organized diagnosis of dengue is significant for medical concern, observation maintenance, studies about pathogenesis, and research for vaccines. Diagnosis is also significant for infection verification (DF or DHF/DSS), to distinguish dengue from other infections, and further flavivirus diseases, and for the designated treatment strategy organization as well as estimation of persons having severe infection (1). Materials & Methods : There were 85 serum samples and 03 whole blood samples collected from suspected dengue patients, from different hospitals and laboratories of Karachi city in year 2012. Initially three whole blood samples were subjected to Immuno fluorescent staining technique then RNA was extracted from dengue serum samples and subjected to one step multiplex Real Time RT PCR and 2% agarose gel respectively. Results : All the 85 serum samples gave positive results on one step multiplex Real Time RT PCR and also gave bands on 2% agarose for dengue serotype 2, 3 and 4. Immuno fluoresent staining was also positive for dengue serotype (2). Conclusion : The results of this study shows that both immunofluorescence technique as well as one step multiplex Real Time RT PCR are efficient and rapid techniques for diagnosis and for research purpose equally, if it would be fully establish in local setting. Along with these finding we also found that the major dengue virus infections in year 2012 were of dengue serotype 4, while dengue serotype 2 and dengue serotype 3 were present in very small percentage i.e., 10% and 6% respectively.
The assessment of water quality and suitability for drinking and domestic (cooking) purposes was carried out from Jamkhandi city of Bagalkot District. The Bore water (Ground water), Surface water (Open well water) and Municipal water were assessed by examining various physicochemical parameters such as pH, EC, TDS, TA, TH, DO, COD, BOD, Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride, Sulphate , Sodium and Trace element concentration like Iron, Manganese Cobalt and Copper called dissolved metals have been analyzed. The analyzed results were compared with WHO and ISI drinking water standards. On the basis of pH, EC and Hardness out of 62 Bore wells, 08 Open wells and 09 Municipal water samples, 57 Bore wells, 06 Open wells and all 09 municipal water samples were within the permissible limit and useful (safe) for drinking and cooking purposes.
A widespread dissatisfaction with the conventional concept of method has led to the development of a new concept named post-method pedagogy. The proponents of this concept argue for formulating a new style of classroom practices for teaching English as a foreign or a second language based on contextual realities and teachers’ experiences and knowledge. As to ELT in Bangladesh, there is a necessity to reconstruct the present ELT practices since CLT, which is now being followed as an approach to second/foreign language teaching, has failed to produce expected result. For the purpose of constructing an effective pedagogy for ELT in Bangladesh, there is a scope to utilize the concept of post-method pedagogy. In the present article, attempts have been made to explore the various features of this concept to determine which of them are practical for the context of Bangladesh and, therefore, significant for ELT practices in the country.
In recent years, Power engineers are increasingly concerned over the quality of the electrical power. In modern power system consists of wide range of electrical, electronic and power electronic equipment in commercial and industrial applications. Since most of the electronic equipments are nonlinear in nature these will induce harmonics in the system, which affect the sensitive loads to be fed from the system. One among the many compensating devices is Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) which specifically aims at the integration of series-active and shunt-active power filters to mitigate any type of voltage and current fluctuations and power factor correction in a power distribution network, such that improved power quality can be made available at the point of common coupling. In This paper presents a comprehensive review on the unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) to enhance the electric power quality at distribution levels. This is intended to present a broad overview on the different possible UPQC system configurations
The main objective of the present work is to investigate Finite Element Analysis of the forged steel crankshaft. In this present research work analysis is conducted on forged Micro Alloy Steel crankshaft. This crankshaft is used in new TATA Safari 2.2 L DICOR vehicle, which belongs to in line four cylinder crankshaft of four stroke diesel engine. But crankshaft is failed for various reasons. Therefore there is need for analysis of the crankshaft to find out the reasons of its failure using the FEA analysis. In this study a static analysis is conducted on this crankshaft, with single crankpin of crankshaft. Finite element analysis is performed to obtain the variation of stress magnitude at critical locations. With the help of maximum gas pressure at time of combustion, total load acting on the crankpin of the crankshaft is calculated. In this static analysis of crankshaft, loading and boundary condition depend upon the maximum gas pressure acting on the crankpin. For the FEA analysis of crankshaft we selected the different element length size for the meshing. Meshing is done using the HYPERMESH software with the tetra element shape. The static analysis is done analytically. This resulted in the load spectrum applied on crankpin area of crankshaft. This load is applied to the FE model in ANSYS and boundary conditions were applied according to the engine mounting conditions. The analysis is done for maximum loading condition. Finally analytical stress calculated value and ANSYS stress value of crankshaft are verified.
Bluetooth technology unplugs the digital peripherals and comes as cable replacement technology. IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth are two operating in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz frequency. WiMAX is operating both licensed and unlicensed frequencies (2-11GHz). The devices equipped with IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth are mobiles, laptops, watches and many more and in future with WiMAX. Result is the number of co-located devices may cause interference issues in the 2.4 GHz radio frequency spectrum. Bluetooth supports both voice (SCO) and data (ACL) packets. In ACL, there is retransmission of packet if it is lost while transmitting but in SCO there is no retransmission of packet. So, retransmission is big issue in Bluetooth. In this thesis, these interference issues are investigated and implement a new Bluetooth voice packet named synchronous connection-oriented with Repeated Transmission (SCORT) with WLAN interference and WiMAX interference to study the improvement in performance by using MATLAB Simulink. SCORT technique also helps in reducing co-existing interference by using HV3 type of packet in voice signal. By this technique BER does not effect at all and very minimal delay comes due to retransmission.
Now a day’s artificial neural network (ANN) has been widely used as a tool for solving many decision modeling problems. A multilayer perception is a feed forward ANN model that is used extensively for the solution of a no. of different problems. An ANN is the simulation of the human brain. It is a supervised learning technique used for non linear classification Coronary heart disease is major epidemic in India and Andhra Pradesh is in risk of Coronary Heart Disease. Clinical diagnosis is done mostly by doctor’s expertise and patients were asked to take no. of diagnosis tests. But all the tests will not contribute towards effective diagnosis of disease. Feature subset selection is a preprocessing step used to reduce dimensionality, remove irrelevant data. In this paper we introduce a classification approach which uses ANN and feature subset selection for the classification of heart disease. PCA is used for preprocessing and to reduce no. Of attributes which indirectly reduces the no. of diagnosis tests which are needed to be taken by a patient. We applied our approach on Andhra Pradesh heart disease data base. Our experimental results show that accuracy improved over traditional classification techniques. This system is feasible and faster and more accurate for diagnosis of heart disease.
